Anyone But Ed, is currently devoted to the defeat of U.S. Representative Ed Perlmutter(D) from the 7th District of Colorado in his re-election bid in 2010. In the coming weeks and months we will show you exactly why we think Ed Perlmutter holding public office is a bad idea. We at Anyone But Ed are not grinding a partisan ax. We want to see Ed Perlmutter defeated in 2010 by a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or a monkey, if that would remove him sooner.
Around these parts our motto is "Anyone But Ed"!

You're nobody till somebody loves you
I want to be as clear as possible, I really don't care who replaces Ed Perlmutter. I'm fed up with the endless "happy talk" mailings I get from Ed, puffing up his own record. I was disturbed when I found that those fancy mailings are paid for with our tax money! Imagine that. It amounts to Ed spending my tax money on his own never ending campaign.
I'm fed up with no substance replies to my letters, emails and faxes. I was disgusted by Ed's cowardly "Town Hall" meeting, hiding inside King Soopers and the "Town Hall" turned astro-turf Obamacare rally. (Although it seems aomeone at SEIU is very interested in how it went.)
Well it's one thing to say "Anyone", but in reality there has to be a "someone". After some checking I found that "someone" would be named Brian T. Campbell. From his web site it looks like he has what it takes, hard worker, small businessman, attractive family, strong moral values, active in church and community. But the one thing he does not seem to have is money. According to OpenSecrets.org Ed has already raised 52 times more money than Brian. $465,240 to $8,579. Looks like someone has some serious fund raising to do if they are going to be our "Anyone". Go Brian, go!
