Anyone But Ed, is currently devoted to the defeat of U.S. Representative Ed Perlmutter(D) from the 7th District of Colorado in his re-election bid in 2010. In the coming weeks and months we will show you exactly why we think Ed Perlmutter holding public office is a bad idea. We at Anyone But Ed are not grinding a partisan ax. We want to see Ed Perlmutter defeated in 2010 by a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or a monkey, if that would remove him sooner.
Around these parts our motto is "Anyone But Ed"!

Government in the Grocery?
Denver Daily News reports:
"GOVERNMENT IN THE GROCERY: Rep. Ed Perlmutter, D-Colo., is hosting a “Government in the Grocery” store meeting this Saturday at Sprouts Farmers Market, 1150 S. Ironton St., in Aurora, at 10 a.m. The program is a way for Perlmutter to reach out to his constituents."

Have you ever wondered why Ed Permutter shuns town hall meetings and seems to prefer meeting his constituents in local grocery stores, five people at a time?
He may claim otherwise but I suspect that it's because his voting record is so unpopular with the people in district 7 that he is afraid to meet them without his Big Union goons standing by to protect him from angry citizens who'd like to "reach out" for him too.
Of course I could be wrong, maybe it's really about the $10000 the United Food & Commercial Workers Union gave the Perlmutter campaign. That kind of money buys a lot of influence in Washington. I think they're just protecting their investment.

Leave it to Ed Perlmutter to get it wrong, again.
While most in his party are correctly in favor of Network Neutrality, Ed smells campaign contributions and goes with Big Business all the way.

Citizen reminds Perlmutter to return dirty money. Will he?
A Sharon Green of Fort Collins, urges Ed Perlmutter to "Get money back to it's rightful owner."
Now that is a fine idea, but since Ed Perlmutter is an experienced looter of others money, I'm not holding my breath. Maybe a few more of us should remind him?

Frazier may drop U.S. Senate race, challenge Perlmutter
Well here's an exciting development in the effort to unseat Ed Perlmutter. Candidate Ryan Frazier may drop U.S. Senate race, challenge Perlmutter for the house seat in the 7th district, as reported by the Denver Post. Frazier was seen as a strong contender for the Senate seat of Senator Bennet, but support from the National Republican Senatorial Committee for another candidate in that race may be enough to cause Ryan Frazier to take on Ed Permutter instead.
We certainly welcome this news, if true, as Frazier is perceived to be a stronger candidate than Brian Campbell Sr.
